Monarch Solicitors attended the Salford Dragon Boat festival on Sunday 12 May 2019 at The Huron Basin in Salford Quays, Manchester.
The charity event and festival was organised by the Xinhua Chinese Association where daring paddlers took to compete in the annual Chinese dragon boat race.
The decorated boats carried each of team, comprising of up of 10 paddlers, a drummer and a steersman.
The race was over the whole length of Ontario Dock, which is around 180 meters and each team had 3 three timed races where their single fastest time only counting for Grand Final qualification.
The 2019 winners were the Wuhan Police PRC (1st), Rowbocops (2nd) and AI Homes (3rd).
Spectators enjoyed the event and a range of cultural activities and foods.
