Saher Qarini

Saher joined Monarch Solicitors’ property team at the start of 2021 as a paralegal. He has since become a trainee solicitor and is now on the journey of qualifying as a solicitor. During his time in the property team, Saher dealt with a vast range of property transactions, which include:

• Residential off-plan properties;
• Right-to-buy governmental schemes;
• Shared ownership schemes;
• Commercial property leases;
• Leaseholds;
• Freehold resale transactions;
• Conditional agreements for sale.

Saher has also garnered experience in secured lending, including:

• Bridging finance;
• Sharia-compliant finance;
• Commercial secured lending to both companies and individuals;
• Lifetime mortgages;
• Re-mortgaging;
• Standard high street lending.

Saher now deals with a vast range of corporate as well as contentious matters. Those include:

• Corporate acquisitions;
• Corporate governance and structuring;
• Drafting of contractual documents (share purchase agreements, loan agreements, legal charges, property deeds, management agreements, conditional agreements of sale, shareholders’ agreements, etc);

Contentious matters include:

• Landlord and tenant disputes;
• Employment disputes;
• Directors and shareholders’ disputes;
• Consumer contract disputes;
• Bankruptcy petitions;
• Debt recovery claims;
• Defamation; and
• Other miscellaneous contentious matters

In his free time, Saher enjoys to spend his time in maintaining a good physical health through strength-training exercise. He also enjoys reading self-help books.
