Senior and Specialist Worker Visa

Conditions

• Can stay in the UK for 5 years of the time given on your certificate of sponsorship plus 14 days
• Can extend your visa as many times as you like up to the maximum total stay
• Can apply for a visa up to 3 months before the day you are due to start work in the UK
• Can get a decision within 3 weeks if you apply from outside the UK or 8 weeks if you apply inside the UK
• Can work for your sponsor 
• Can study
• Can bring your family
• Can do voluntary work
• Can travel abroad and return to the U

Eligibility

• You must meet the validity, suitability, eligibility requirements for Senior or Specialist Worker 
• You must be an existing employee of an approved employer
• You must have worked for your employer outside the UK for at least 12 months if you are earning less than £73,900
• You must have a certificate of sponsorship
• You must be taking up a job on the list of eligible occupations
• You must be paid at least £42,400 per year
• You must prove you have enough personal savings
